Lagan Valley LeisurePlex provides Council run swimming lessons for babies to adults to help swimmers of all abilities to make their first splash or progress onto more advanced courses such as lifesaving:

• Baby Bubbles – baby tuition classes
  
• Ducklings – 3 and 4 years olds
  
• Mixed Ability – 5+ years
  
• Kingfishers – must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres
  
• Rookie Lifeguard – 8+ years, must be able to swim 50 metres and be water confident
  
• Bronze Medallion – 12+ years, must be able to swim 100m front crawl and breast stroke, tread water for 2 minutes and be able to swim without googles
  
• NPLQ – 16+ years and as per RLSS guidelines
  

There is currently a waiting list for Swimming Lessons and Life Saving courses.  To register on the waiting list please complete the below application form and return it signed to the LeisurePlex reception in person or via posting.
