Ulster Badminton Schools Good Relations Festival

Leisure & Community Development Committee Chair, Councillor Sharon Skillen and Vice Chair Councillor Thomas Beckett welcomed over 120 children to the Ulster Badminton Schools Good Relations Festival hosted at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex on Thursday 24 March 2022.

The Ulster Badminton Schools Good Relations Festival is part of cross community programme within the Lisburn & Castlereagh area.  The festival included fun badminton activities along with good relations activity from Holywood Family Trust.  Pupils from four schools across the Lisburn & Castlereagh area were in attendance: Ballymacward Primary School, Carr Primary School, Riverdale Primary School and St Ita’s Primary School.
