The Pan Disability & Autism Friendly Swimming sessions are aimed at families with members who are disabled or on the Autistic Spectrum and run every Tuesday.

The sessions provide participants and their families with an hour of fun in the Leisure Pool.  The sessions include fun floats, balls and rings for extra enjoyment, and all within a controlled and supervised environment.

Places must be booked online.

Booking opens 7 days in advance at 7.00am. These sessions are well attended and spaces fill very quickly.

  • Can I wear goggles?

    Yes, goggles can be worn however, goggles that cover the nose or full face masks are not permitted.

  • Are lockers available Yes, lockers are available for customers to use. A locker costs 20p per use.
  • What is the temperature of the 25m pool? The 25m pool is kept at a temperate of 29.5°C. 
  • Are you allowed to use the Leisure Pool or 25M Pool if you have a cast on your arm or wrist? No, the general advice for people wearing casts would be to avoid swimming altogether and other activities that would cause the cast to get wet.
