From 1 July to 28 August, the gym will close Monday - Friday at 8.15pm & the Health Suite will close for 8pm. Bookings are no longer required for evening gym sessions during this period.

Swimming Lessons at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex

Lagan Valley LeisurePlex provides Council run swimming lessons for babies to adults to help swimmers of all abilities to make their first splash or progress onto more advanced courses such as lifesaving:

Classes start in September

Baby Bubbles – baby tuition classes
Ducklings – 3 and 4 years olds. WAITING LIST NOW CLOSED
Mixed Ability – 5+ years. WAITING LIST NOW CLOSED
Kingfishers – must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres
Rookie Lifeguard – 8+ years, must be able to swim 50 metres and be water confident
Bronze Medallion – 12+ years, must be able to swim 100m front crawl and breast stroke, tread water for 2 minutes and be able to swim without googles
NPLQ – 16+ years and as per RLSS guidelines
