Lagan Valley LeisurePlex

1. What time does the scheme start?The scheme commences at 9am each day. Please do not leave your child off before 8.55am – staff will not be available to supervise.
2. When does the scheme finish?The scheme ends at 4pm each day. Please collect your child promptly at 4pm – staff will not be available to supervise.
3. Which clubs will my child attend?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
4. Will they need swimwear?Children are required to bring swimming gear each day.
5. Which pool will my child be in?Children aged 5 – 7 will have their supervised “splash sessions” in our diving/teaching pool or Aqualand. Children over 8 will go to the Leisure Pool.
6. Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Parents can send a packed lunch or order food at the café. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
7. Will the children being going on any trips?Children will go on weekly trips on a Wednesday & Friday.
8. Do I need to send money for the cinema?Yes, there are no cash facilities at the Omniplex Lisburn. On days where scheme trips are scheduled for the cinema, children will have the option to bring their own drinks and snacks with them.
9. What clothes do my children need to wear?Children will be participating in many different sports and activities and we would recommend comfortable clothes and shoes.
10. Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
11. What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
12. What months is the scheme on?The scheme will run between July and August.

14. Are glasses allowed?No glasses allowed. Prescription goggles only.
15. Are there lockers available?Yes, 20p is needed for lockers and it will be returned after you have finished with your locker.
16. Does my child need to bring a hairdryer?Hairdryers are provided on site - cost is 20p
17. Do you sell armbands, goggles etc?We have a variety of items on sale at our reception: armbands, swimming costumes/ trunks, swim vests and swim nappies. Please note, there is no refunds on swim wear.

Dundonald International Ice Bowl

1. What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 9am.
2. When does the scheme finish?The scheme will finish each day at 4pm.
3. Do I sign my child in?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
4. Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Parents can send a packed lunch or order food at the café. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
5. Will the children being going on any trips?Yes – advance parental/guardian consent must be given.
6. What clothes do my children need to wear?• Suitable clothing for ice skating.
• Suitable footwear for bowling.
• Suitable clothing for slides and outdoors e.g. waterproof jacket, sun cream/sun hat.
• Please note, for your child’s safety, bare arms/legs are not permitted on our Freefall slide in Indiana Land.
7. Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
8. What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
9. What months is the scheme on?The scheme will run for one week in July and one week in August.
10. Is there a cash machine?The Ice Bowl has a cash machine in the building where you can lift money for your child.
11. Where can my child keep personal items while taking part in their activities?Lockers are available within the ice rink, single use tokens can be purchased at a discounted price for any children attending our summer scheme.
12. Are there any restrictions for ice skating?• Ice skating is suitable for all ages and abilities.
• Skating aids may be offered to children below 1.5 metres when measured wearing ice skates – subject to availability.
• For the health and safety of your child and other skaters, we cannot permit skating aids to be used by taller children regardless of their skating ability. This is due to manufacture guidelines and is non-negotiable.
13. What size are the bowling shoes?They range from children’s size 6 to adult size 15.
14. Are there any restrictions for Indiana Land?• Your child must be under 11 years and under 5 foot in height.
• Suitable clothing must be worn for your child to use our slides i.e. covered arms and legs.
15. Are there any restrictions for Clip N’ Climb?Clip n’ Climb is for everyone, regardless of ability.

Lough Moss Leisure Centre

1. What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 9am.
2. When does the scheme finish?The scheme will finish each day at 3pm.
3. Do I sign my child in?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
4. Which activities will my child attend?The activities will change each day/week for children. Some of the activities will include:
• Arts & crafts
• Multi- sports sessions
• Cooking
• Movies
• Outdoor activities- team games, football and play park
5. Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Yes. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts in order to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
6. Will the children being going on any trips?The children will use the grounds and play park around Lough Moss for activities but will not venture beyond this.
7. What clothes do my children need to wear?Something comfortable. Leggings/Track bottoms, T-Shirt and hoodie with trainers. A hat or jacket can be brought with your child for outdoor activities.
8. Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
9. What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
10. Do I need to send pocket money?You do not need to send pocket money unless you permit your child use of the vending machines. Children will be able to use the vending machines at break/lunch times only and home time.

Glenmore Activity Centre

1. What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 10am.
2. When does the scheme finish?The scheme will finish each day at 3pm
3. Do I sign my child in?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
4. Which activities will my child attend?Activities include:
• Games & Sports
• Arts & Crafts
• Visits from basketball & dodgeball coaches
• Day trips
5. Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Yes. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts in order to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
6. Will the children being going on any trips?Yes – advance parental/guardian consent must be given.
7. What clothes do my children need to wear?Dress for all weather outcomes! If sunny please apply sun cream, if rainy please bring a rain jacket.
8. Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
9. What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
10. Do I need to send pocket money?Yes if your child wants to use centres vending machines.

Ice Skating Lessons

What do I need to wear to go skating?It is advisable to wear something warm and comfortable. We also recommend bringing gloves
Where do I keep my personal items when skating?Locker tokens can be purchased from the vending machine in the ice rink. Tokens cost £1 and are for single use only.
Do you have to bring your own skates?No but you can if you wish
What size of skates do you offer?Our ice skates range from children’s size 5 to adult size 13.
Do we get ice time after our lesson?Yes, you will have the remainder of the ice session to skate. E.g. if your lesson finishes at 12pm or 12:30pm you will have until 1pm
