What time does the scheme start?The scheme commences at 9am each day. Please do not leave your child off before 8.55am – staff will not be available to supervise.
When does the scheme finish?The scheme ends at 4pm each day. Please collect your child promptly at 4pm – staff will not be available to supervise.
Do I need to sign my child in/ out each day?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
Will they need swimwear?Children are required to bring swimming gear each day.
Which pool will my child be in?Children aged 5 – 7 will have their supervised “splash sessions” in our diving/teaching pool or Aqualand. Children over 8 will go to the Leisure Pool.
Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Parents can send a packed lunch or order food at the café. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
Will the children being going on any trips?Children will go on weekly trips on a Wednesday & Friday.
Do I need to send money for the cinema?All children are asked to bring their own snacks to the cinema as food can't be bought while at the cinema.
What clothes do my children need to wear?Children will be participating in many different sports and activities and we would recommend comfortable clothes and shoes.
Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
What activities are there?• Leisure Pool ( 8+ years)

Are glasses allowed?No glasses allowed. Prescription goggles only.
Are there lockers available?Yes, 20p is needed for lockers and it will be returned after you have finished with your locker.
Does my child need to bring a hairdryer?Hairdryers are provided on site - cost is 20p
Do you sell armbands, goggles etc?We have a variety of items on sale at our reception: armbands, swimming costumes/ trunks, swim vests and swim nappies. Please note, there is no refunds on swim wear.

Dundonald International Ice Bowl

What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 9am.
When does the scheme finish?The scheme will finish each day at 4pm.
Do I need to sign my child in/ out each day?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Parents can send a packed lunch or order food at the café. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
Will the children being going on any trips?Yes – advance parental/guardian consent must be given.
What clothes do my children need to wear?• Suitable clothing for ice skating.
• Suitable footwear for bowling.
• Suitable clothing for slides and outdoors e.g. waterproof jacket, sun cream/sun hat.
• Please note, for your child’s safety, bare arms/legs are not permitted on our Freefall slide in Indiana Land.
Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.
What is the age range?The summer scheme is suitable for children aged 5-12 years.
Is there a cash machine?The Ice Bowl has a cash machine in the building where you can lift money for your child.
Where can my child keep personal items while taking part in their activities?Lockers are available within the ice rink, single use tokens can be purchased at a discounted price for any children attending our summer scheme.
Are there any restrictions for ice skating?• Ice skating is suitable for all ages and abilities.
What size are the bowling shoes?They range from children’s size 6 to adult size 15.
Are there any restrictions for Indiana Land?• Your child must be under 11 years and under 5 foot in height.
• Suitable clothing must be worn for your child to use our slides i.e. covered arms and legs.

Lough Moss Leisure Centre

What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 9am.
Do I need to sign my child in/ out each day?The scheme will finish each day at 3pm.
Which activities will my child attend?The activities will change each day/week for children. Some of the activities will include:
• Arts & crafts
• Multi- sports sessions
• Cooking
• Movies
• Outdoor activities- team games, football and play park
Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Yes. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts in order to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
Will the children being going on any trips?Trips may be arranged for children, details of these will be issued to parents prior to the date of the trip.
What clothes do my children need to wear?Something comfortable. Leggings/Track bottoms, T-Shirt and hoodie with trainers. A hat or jacket can be brought with your child for outdoor activities.
Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.

Do I need to send pocket money?You do not need to send pocket money unless you permit your child use of the vending machines. Children will be able to use the vending machines at break/lunch times only and home time.

Glenmore Activity Centre

What time does the scheme start?The scheme will start each day at 10am.
When does the scheme finish?The scheme will finish each day at 3pm
Do I need to sign my child in/ out each day?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the appropriate clubs that they attend each day.
Which activities will my child attend?Activities include:
• Games & Sports
• Arts & Crafts
• Visits from sports coaches
• Day trips
Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Yes. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts in order to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
Will the children being going on any trips?Yes – advance parental/guardian consent must be given.
What clothes do my children need to wear?Dress for all weather outcomes! If sunny please apply sun cream, if rainy please bring a rain jacket.
Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the scheme or take photographs.

Do I need to send pocket money?Yes if your child wants to use centres vending machines.

Multi-Sports Camps

What time does the sport camp start?Lough Moss & LVLP Sports Camps will start each day at 9:30am. Kilmakee AC & Ballybeen Sports Camps begin at 10am.
What time does the sport camp finish?Lough Moss & LVLP Sports Camps will finish each day at 3:30am. Kilmakee AC & Ballybeen Sports Camps begin at 10am.
Do I sign my child in?Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the sports camp that they attend each day.
What sports will my child participate in?• Dodgeball
• Pickleball
• Cricket
• Olympic Handball
• American Football
• Inclusive Games
• Football
• GAA
• Energise Nutrition Games & Healthy Snack Making
Do they need to bring a packed lunch?Yes and a water bottle for water throughout the day. Please refrain from sending items that contain nuts in order to reduce the risk to those with nut allergies.
Will the children be going on any trips? No, the children will not be going on any trips, however, coaches from local sports clubs will be visiting the camp during the week.
What clothes do my children need to wear?Something comfortable for participating in sport. Leggings/Track bottoms/Shorts, T-Shirt and hoodie with trainers. A hat or jacket can be brought with your child for outdoor activities in case of inclement weather
Are they allowed their mobile phones?Children will not be permitted to use mobile phones during the Sports Camp or take photographs.
What is the age range?The Lough Moss & LVLP Sports Camp is for children aged 7-12 years. Kilmakee AC & Ballybeen Sports Camps is for children 5-12 years.
Do I need to send pocket money?You do not need to send pocket money unless you permit your child use of the vending machines at Lough Moss, LVLP or Kilmakee AC. Children will be able to use the vending machines at break/lunch times only and home time.
